If required, calls can be recorded and retained for up to 30 days before being automatically deleted. An automated message can advise callers that recording is taking place, and call recording can be disabled completely if it isn't required. Churches using call recording should ensure that its use is appropriate for their organisation and covered by their privacy and data-protection procedures.
